Event Information and Re-Cap: September 6th NW 4's Championships

WITH THE IMPENDING POOR WEATHER ON LABOR DAY WEEKEND, WE HAVE OPTED TO CANCEL THIS WEEKEND'S TOURNAMENTS RATHER THAN FORCE PLAYERS TO PLAY IN THE COLD AND RAIN. WE FEEL THAT THIS IS IN THE BEST INTEREST OF THE PLAYERS, WHO HAVE STARTED THEIR HIGH SCHOOL SEASONS, AND WE WANT TO AVOID CONTRIBUTING TO ILLNESS OR INJURY. UNFORTUNATELY, NO MAKEUP DATE IS AVAILABLE ON THE SCHEDULE. WE WANT TO THANK EVERYONE WHO HAS PARTICIPATED IN OUR EVENTS THIS SUMMER! ANY MONIES CHARGED FOR ENTRY WILL BE REFUNDED. WE APOLOGIZE FOR ANY INCONVENIENCE THIS MAY HAVE CAUSED.

We have had a great summer and we want to celebrate with all that want to end their summer on a high note, playing beach volleyball. Participation numbers were high this summer and we expect many of the same faces and some new ones to come and crown the NW JUNIOR BEACH FOURS CHAMPIONS. Bring your School Teammates or get your club team back together for one last time before the start of school. There will be raffles and give-aways all weekend, and the champions of each age group will receive a commemorative tee-shirt crowning them the NW Champion.

Unfortunately, we are sold out of Sand socks, and are not able to secure any more before the event, so please plan accordingly by brining plenty of socks to protect your feet. This will also be your last chance to purchase a King of the Beach volleyball -- the official volleyball of the USA Jr. Beach Volleyball Series -- check with the tournament director if you are interested. Also, remember to patronize Christo's on Alki, our official restaurant down there on the beach -- they give a 20% discount to participants and their families.

Here is a list of the teams, if your team is not listed, we did not receive your entry. We have room for up to 12 courts on the beach, so we will be taking walk-up registrations. Based on 12 nets on the beach, we have highlighted the available openings for walk-ups. We will take entries the morning of the event beginning at 8:15 AM:
