Northwest Volleyball
promotes participation in a
quality program that provides a
positive and safe athletic
environment through a variety of
developmental and competitive
opportunities for junior teams
of all ages, skills levels, and
diverse groups. It is important
to us to maintain year-round
volleyball opportunities for
junior players of all ages and
skill levels. In addition
to our ever-popular indoor
summer camps, we offer a wide
variety of outdoor programs.

Many people do
not realize that USA Volleyball
is the National Governing Body
for the sport of beach
volleyball in the United States.
USA Volleyball runs and manages
the USA Beach National
Volleyball Teams, the USA Beach
Olympic Teams, and also USA
Youth and Junior Beach National
Teams for each gender. They also
host a beach series that leads
to a National Championship
Tournament -- Northwest
Volleyball has operated a stop
on that tour since its
inception. In an effort to
bring sand volleyball to our
region, Northwest Volleyball
organizes a beach clinic and
sand volleyball series girls and
boys throughout the summer.
We hope that this will broaden
the interest in the game of sand
volleyball in our region and in
the Northwest.
The USAV and
Northwest Volleyball sand
programs work to advance sand
volleyball talent and build a
broader and stronger pipeline of
athletes and coaches for our
U.S. Olympic Teams. The USAV and
Northwest Volleyball's Sand
Programs are the "pipeline" for
young beach volleyball athletes
who aspire to reach the elite
level of their sport and who
dream of representing the United
States on the Beach National
Volleyball Team.
The
Northwest Volleyball Junior Sand
Doubles Series offers
opportunities to accumulate
points during the regular sand
season for both junior boy’s and
girl’s based on tournament
results. These points will be
used to seed teams into the
season ending Northwest Junior
Beach Doubles and Fours
Championships in late August. In addition we
offer a fours hybrid game
(between doubles and sixes) that
still offers players the
opportunity to maximize contacts
but has an indoor game feel to
it.
The Junior Sand
Division is for ages 20 & under.
Age Divisions:
-
12 and Under: Born on or after Sept 1, 1998
-
14 and Under: Born on or after Sept 1, 1996

Northwest
Volleyball gives members
more opportunities to play
volleyball through it's grass
programs. Grass volleyball is
great during the summer months
when you want to get outside and
play (rather than being in a
gym) but you may not be close to
the beach or just do not want to
deal with the elements that come
with sand volleyball. Grass
volleyball is a great
opportunity to play with your
friends in a local outdoor
tournament or in a league.
We offer opportunities to play
via the following programs:
-
Junior
Outdoor Fours Grass League
(North Seattle, Eastside)
-
Washington
State Games Grass
Tournament, July 16 (Fours)
and July 17 (Doubles) (USAV
Membership not required)
